COURSE DESCRIPTION
Planning and evaluation in teaching course is a course that was introduced by ÜAK in 1998 to gain experience in planning and evaluating teaching activities in the event that all of the students who do doctorate become future instructors.
This course will be taught on the basis of “learning, teaching, intelligence, thinking skills, teaching plan, teaching principles”.
GOAL
The aim of this course is to provide conceptual development in students on learning, teaching, intelligence, thinking skills, teaching plan, teaching principles .
When “learning” is mentioned, it will be realized that it involves the processes of organizing, realizing and evaluating the correct and effective experiences that will provide this learning.
In doing so, multiple intelligence theory and contemporary teaching paradigms will embrace the diverse and effective experience principle that embraces individual differences.
METHOD
The teaching and planning course will be mostly student-centered, activity-oriented and problem-centered.
PLACE AND TIME
The Planning and Evaluation course in teaching is held on Wednesday at 09:30 in the classroom 11 at the Faculty of Education.
CREDIT
Principles and Methods of Planning and Evaluation in Teaching is a 5-credit course.
EVALUATION
In the evaluation, an interim evaluation activity based on the performance and practice as 50% and the final evaluation activity 50% will be calculated. In this course, attendance is the main criterion of success rather than midterm or final evaluation.
